Approve an increase in funding of $50,000 for the contract\noperations of the California Welcome Center for FY 2023-24 as\nidentified in the associated lease agreement.

Town-Wide Slurry / Cape Seal Project – Town Project No.7037/8340, Award of\nConstruction Contract\nRecommendation:\nThat the Town Council:\n· Approves the award of a construction contract with American\nAsphalt South, Inc., in the amount of $1,715,165.00 to construct\nTown-Wide Slurry/Cape Seal Project;\n· Authorizes construction, construction contingencies, and\ninspection costs in the total amount of $1,910,000.00; and\n· Authorizes the Mayor, Town Manager, and Town Attorney to\nexecute the agreement, and authorizes the Town Manager or\ndesignee to expend contingency funds, if necessary, for project\ncompletion.
