8. CLIMATE ACTION PLAN – Hold a public hearing and adopt one of the following City Council resolutions\nfor the Climate Action Plan Update: 1) A resolution adopting the publicly posted Draft Climate Plan\nUpdate, excluding Measures E-3.2, E-3.3 and E-4.2 (Nonresidential Building Energy – Updated Reach\nCode, Nonresidential Building Energy – Solar Carports, and Residential Building Energy – Updated\nReach Code, respectively), to meet the required 2045 reduction target; or\n2) A resolution adopting the publicly posted Draft Climate Action Plan Update, excluding Measure E-\n3.2 (Nonresidential Building Energy – Updated Reach Code), which would exceed the 2045 reduction\ntarget by approximately 200 MT CO2e; or\n3) A resolution adopting the publicly posted Draft Climate Action Plan Update, excluding Measure E-\n4.2 (Residential Building Energy – Updated Reach Code), which would exceed the 2045 reduction\ntarget by approximately 4,000 MT CO2e ; or\n4) A resolution adopting the publicly posted Draft Climate Action Plan Update, which would exceed\nthe 2045 reduction target by approximately 6,000 MT CO2e; and\n5) Adopt a resolution certifying Addendum No. 1 to the Housing Element Implementation and Public\nSafety Element Update Supplemental Environmental Impact Report for the Climate Action Plan\nUpdate.
