8.2 State of Local Emergency: Consider Declaring a State of Local Emergency Related to the\nImpacts of Cross-Border Contamination\nG.C. § 84308: No\nEnvironmental Notice: The activity is not a “Project” as defined under Section 15378 of the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act State Guidelines. Therefore, pursuant to State Guidelines\nSection 15060(c)(3) no environmental review is required. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the\nactivity qualifies for an Exemption pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3) of the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act State Guidelines.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nAdopt a resolution declaring a state of local emergency related to the impacts of cross-border\ncontamination.
