8. Approval of Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement to\nProvide Additional Environmental Consulting Services for the Proposed\nPaseo De Colinas Townhomes Development\nRecommendation\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Approve Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement to\nprovide additional environmental consulting services for the proposed\nPaseo De Colinas Townhomes development for an amount not-to-exceed\n$17,960;\n2. Approve a not-to-exceed 10% contingency of the total contract in the\namount of $1,796, if needed;\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 2 to the\nProfessional Services Agreement and future amendments to the\nagreement, subject to the City Attorney making non-substantive changes;\nand,\n4. Approve a budget appropriation for a pass-through amount of $17,960. The\ncosts associated with these services will be paid by the property owner,\nCapistrano Unified School District.
