AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH THE\nSAN DIEGO METROPOLITAN TRANSIT SYSTEM IN THE AMOUNT OF\n$205,640 TO OPERATE THE 2023 FREE SUMMER SHUTTLE AND A FREE\nFOURTH OF JULY BUS FOR CAYS RESIDENTS (Pg 84)\nRecommendation: Authorize the City Manager to execute a contract in a form\napproved by the City Attorney with San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS)\nto: 1) operate the Free Summer Shuttle (FSS) from May 26, 2023, through\nSeptember 4, 2023, in 15­minute intervals; 2) operate a free bus service from the\nCays Fire Station to the Community Center on the Fourth of July in 30­minute\nintervals; and 3) purchase an initial 100 PRONTO passes for distribution to\nCoronado Cays residents. <br>
