A. APPOINTMENT OF THE CITY CLERK AND CITY TREASURER, AND\nINTRODUCTION (FIRST READING) OF ORDINANCES MAKING THE CITY\nTREASURER AND CITY CLERK POSITIONS APPOINTED BY THE CITY\nMANAGER\nStaff Recommendation\n1. Adopt Resolution 24-170 appointing Laura Campagnolo to the office of City\nClerk in accordance to Chapter 2.10 of the Municipal Code of the City of San\nClemente.\n2. Introduce and conduct the first reading of Ordinance No. 1783 entitled AN\nORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN CLEMENTE,\nCALIFORNIA, AMENDING CHAPTER 2.10 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF\nTHE CITY OF SAN CLEMENTE TO MODIFY SECTIONS 2.10.010 AND\n2.08.090, VESTING AUTHORITY IN THE CITY MANAGER TO APPOINT\nTHE CITY CLERK, and direct the City Manager to make such future\nappointments going forward.\n3. Adopt Resolution 24-171 appointing Charlie Smith to the office of City\nTreasurer in accordance to Chapter 2.14 of the Municipal Code of the City of\nSan Clemente.
