D. CONSIDERATION OF A RESOLUTION AWARDING A THREE-YEAR\nMAINTENANCE SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH TWO OPTIONAL ONE-YEAR\nEXTENSIONS TO GREAT SCOTT TREE SERVICE, INC., AND FINDING THE\nPROJECT CATEGORICALLY EXEMPT FROM THE CALIFORNIA\nENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT\nStaff Recommendation\nAdopt Resolution No. 24-174, which will:\n1. Determine that the project is categorically exempt from the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA) under Class 1 (Existing Facilities, 14\nCCR 15301), Section 15301 of the state CEQA Guidelines.\n2. Award a Three-Year Maintenance Services Agreement, with two optional\none-year renewals exercisable under the City Manager's discretion, to\nGreat Scott Tree Service, Inc.\n3. Approve, and authorize the City Manager to execute, Contract No. C24-\n67, by and between the City of San Clemente and Great Scott Tree\nService, Inc., providing for tree trimming services, in the amount of\n$310,619 for year one, $319,937.57 for year two and $329,535.70 for year\nthree with up to an annual $60,000 per year supplement for emergency\nservices.
