2-D. Los Angeles County Development Authority and Department of Public\nWorks Collaboration for the Los Angeles County Care Community Project\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Hahn: Authorize the Executive\nDirector of Los Angeles County Development Authority, to act as an agent of\nthe County, to prepare and to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to develop a\npermanent supportive housing project in two of the unused buildings on the\nMetropolitan State Hospital campus, located at the intersection of 1st Street and\nNorwalk Boulevard in the City of Norwalk; authorize the Executive Director to\nexecute a funding agreement with the County, through the Department of Public\nWorks, and any necessary amendments for the Los Angeles Community\nDevelopment Authority (LACDA) to provide reimbursement of costs incurred for\nthe administration of the contract, in an amount of up to $70,000 in No Place\nLike Home (NPLH) funds, included in the LACDA’s approved Fiscal Year\n2024-25 budget, and if additional funds are required in future years, they will be\nincluded through LACDA's annual budget approval process; and find the\nproposed actions are not a project under the California Environmental Quality\nAct.
