45. Greater Avenues for Independence Case Management Services Contract\nAmendment\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Public Social Services to execute\nan amendment to the current contract with Maximus US Services Inc., to extend\nthe Greater Avenues for Independence Case Management Services for 12\nmonths, effective January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025, with an annual\ncontract amount of $17,305,991, for the 12 month extension, fully funded by\nCalWORKs Single Allocation, and with funding for the extension period to be\nincluded in the Department’s annual budget requests; execute an amendment to\nthe contract to extend for an additional 12 months, from January 1, 2026\nthrough December 31, 2026, provided it is in the best interest of the County;\nand execute amendments to the contract for instances which affect the scope\nof work, contract term, contract sum, payment terms, or any other term or\ncondition to the contract, additions and/or changes required by the Board,\nchanges to be in compliance with applicable County, State, and Federal\nregulations, or increases or decreases of no more than 10% of the original\ncontract amount based on the contractor’s performance, County needs, and\nfunding availability.
