52. County Paratransit Program Funding for Fiscal Year 2024-25\nRecommendation: Approve the continuation of paratransit services for eligible\npatrons in the unincorporated areas of the County for Fiscal Year 2024-25 at\nan estimated amount of $3,761,800; authorize the Director of Public Works to\nnegotiate and execute six agreements for the County's share of the following\nparatransit services: Alondra Park/Del Aire Paratransit Service, provided by the\nCity of Gardena, for a maximum contract amount of $170,000 for a two-year\nterm; Azusa/Glendora Paratransit Service, provided by the City of Azusa, for a\nmaximum contract amount of $568,000 for a four-year term; East San\nGabriel/Altadena Paratransit Service, provided by the City of Pasadena, for a\nmaximum contract amount of $930,000 for a three-year term; La\nCrescenta/Montrose Paratransit Service, provided by the City of Glendale, for a\nmaximum contract amount of $110,000 for a one-year term; Los Angeles City\nIslands Paratransit Service, provided by the City of Los Angeles, for a\nmaximum contract amount of $753,000 for a three-year term; and the Rancho\nResearch Institute Paratransit Service, provided by the Rancho Research\nInstitute, for a maximum contract amount of $754,000 for a two-year term; find\nthat the proposed project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality\nAct; and authorize the Director of Public Works to take the following actions:\n(Department of Public Works) APPROVE\nIncrease the amount of compensation for the paratransit services\nagreements up to an additional 10% of the annual maximum amount for\nunforeseen additional work within the scope of the agreements, if\nrequired; and\nApprove and execute amendments to the paratransit services agreements\nto incorporate necessary changes within the scope of work if, in the\nopinion of the Director, it is in the best interest of the County.
