7. Expanding Housing Navigation for Transition Aged Youth\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisors Solis and Horvath: Approve a\nresolution authorizing the Director of Children and Family Services to\nparticipate in the Transitional Housing Program (THP) Round 6, Housing\nNavigation and Maintenance Program (HMMP) Round 3, and THP-Plus Housing\nSupplement Round 4 and accept the additional funding allocation; instruct the\nDirector of Children and Family Services to accept the funding for the THP\nRound 6, HNMP Round 3, and THP-Plus Housing Supplement Round 4 for the\nCounty, by submitting the approved resolution to the California Department of\nHousing and Community Development; and authorize the Director of Children\nand Family Services, in consultation with County Counsel, to execute\namendments to THP-Plus contracts to increase the maximum contract amount\nto distribute the new funding allocation to accommodate an increase in units of\nservice and/or increase the current rate of the units, and update THP-Plus\ncontracts for necessary programmatic changes, and execute amendments to\nthe Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Departments of\nChildren and Family Services and Health Services for Housing Navigators to\nincrease the MOU amount with the new funding allocation.
