33. Concession Cafeteria Services Contract\nRecommendation: Award a contract to California Dining Services for\nconcession cafeteria services at the Department of Public Works Headquarters\nlocated in the City of Alhambra (1), for a period of one year with four one-year\nand six month-to-month extension options for a maximum potential contract term\nof five years and six months; authorize the Director to execute and renew the\ncontract for each extension option if, in the opinion of the Director, the\nCalifornia Dining Services has successfully performed during the previous\ncontract period and the services are still required, approve and execute\namendments to incorporate necessary changes within the scope of work, and\nsuspend and/or terminate the contract for convenience if it is in the best interest\nof the County; and find that the contract work is not a project pursuant to the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act.
