30. Clinical Laboratory Services Sole Source Contract Amendment\nRecommendation: Approve and authorize the Director of Mental Health to\nexecute an amendment on a sole source basis, to the existing contract with\nPrimex Laboratories, Inc. (Primex), to extend the term for one year, effective\nJanuary 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025, while the Department of Mental\nHealth (DMH) is working on completing a new solicitation, ), for the continued\nprovision of clinical laboratory services, the total funding for this one-year\nextension is $200,000, fully funded by sales tax realignment revenue, and is\nincluded in DMH’s adopted budget, and funding for future fiscal years will be\nrequested through DMH’s annual budget request process as needed; and\nauthorize the Director to take the following actions: (Department of Mental\nHealth) APPROVE\nExecute future amendments to the contract in order to revise the\nlanguage, revise and/or replace the fee schedule, add, delete, modify, or\nreplace the statement of work, and/or reflect Federal, State, and County\nregulatory and/or policy changes provided that the Maximum Contract\nAmount (MCA) does not exceed an increase of 10% from the\nBoard-approved MCA, and sufficient funds are available; and\nTerminate the contract in accordance with the termination provisions,\nincluding termination for convenience.
