36. On-Call Elementary School Environmental Education Program Service\nContract\nRecommendation: Award a contract to Finn Partners, Inc., for on-call\nelementary school environmental education program services, for a term of\none-year with four one-year and six month-to-month extension options, for a\nmaximum potential contract term of 66 months and a maximum potential\ncontract amount of $5,747,500; find that the contract work is not a project\npursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act; and authorize the Director\nof Public Works to take the following actions: (Department of Public Works)\nAPPROVE\nExecute the contract and exercise the extension options if, in the opinion\nof the Director, Finn Partners, Inc. has successfully performed during\nthe previous contract period and the services are still required, approve\nand execute amendments to incorporate necessary changes within the\nscope of work, and suspend and/or terminate the contract for\nconvenience, if it is in the best interest of the County; and\nAnnually increase the contract amount up to an additional 10% of the\nannual contract amount, which is included in the maximum potential\ncontract amount for unforeseen additional work within the scope of the\ncontract if required, and adjust the annual contract amount for each\noption year over the term of the contract to allow for an annual Cost of\nLiving Adjustment in accordance with County policy and the terms of the\ncontract.
