11. March of Dimes and "Creating Greater Communities" - Workplace\nCharitable Giving Campaign 2025\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Barger: In support of Board\nPolicy No. 3.010 - Workplace Charitable Giving Standard, approve and support\nthe "Creating Greater Communities" Workplace Charitable Giving 2025 and the\nMarch of Dimes 2025 Campaigns; encourage those employees who can begin\ndonating to these worthy causes through voluntary payroll deduction, and for\nthose who already give, to consider an increase to their existing contribution;\nrequest that all Department Heads and their designated March of Dimes and\nCharitable Giving Coordinator(s) oversee Departmental efforts to support the\ncampaigns for these programs in a manner consistent with Board Policy No.\n3.010 - Workplace Charitable Giving Standard; authorize the Director of\nPersonnel to provide the necessary support services and promotional items for\nthe 2025 Charitable Giving and March of Dimes Campaigns; and proclaim the\nfollowing:\nJuly 16 and 17, 2025, August 20 and 21, 2025, September 17 and 18,\n2025, October 15 and 16, 2025, November 19 and 20, 2025, and\nDecember 17 and 18, 2025, as “Blue Jeans for Giving” days, in support\nof the 2025 Workplace Charitable Giving Campaign;\nApril 26, 2025, as the “County of Los Angeles March of Dimes Day” in\nrecognition of the Annual “March for Babies” walk to be held in Gloria\nMolina Grand Park; and\nJanuary 22 and 23, 2025, February 19 and 20, 2025, March 19 and 20,\n2025, April 16 and 17, 2025, May 21 and 22, 2025, and June 25 and 26,\n2025, as “Blue Jeans for Babies” Days throughout the Los Angeles\nCounty, in support of the 2025 March of Dimes Campaign.
