27. 24-55669 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute a contract, all\nnecessary documents, and any subsequent amendments including term\nextensions with the County of Los Angeles to receive and expend Department of\nHomeland Security grant funding for the 2023 State Homeland Security Program to\nenhance the capability of local agencies to prevent, respond to, and recover from\nthreats or acts of terrorism, in an amount not to exceed $300,000, for the period of\nSeptember 1, 2023, through May 31, 2026; and\nIncrease appropriations in the General Grants Fund Group in the Fire Department\nby $300,000, offset by grant revenue.
