AUTHORIZING THE GRANT APPLICATION, ACCEPTANCE, AND EXECUTION FOR THE LA\nCIENEGA PARK WELLS PROJECT AND ADVANCED METERING INFRASTRUCTURE (AMI)/\nAUTOMATED METER READING (AMR) PROJECT.\nComment: It is recommended that City Council adopt the resolution, and authorize the City Manager or\nher designee to execute any and all necessary agreements and other grant-related documents to the\nCalifornia Department of Water Resources (DWR). The Urban Community Drought Relief Grant\nadministered by the DWR requires a minimum non-state cost share of 25% of the total application costs.\nThe City is requesting $9,324,000 from the State with the City’s cost share portion at $3,108,000.
