12. RECREATION FACILITY RESERVATION PROGRAM AND FEE\nSCHEDULE UPDATES\nRecommendations:\n(1) Approve the updated facility reservation program and fee schedule for the\nCommunity & Recreation Center and Lang Park Community Center, including\nprovision for community rental of the former library space, and for small wedding\nceremonies in the chapel at the Community & Recreation Center;\n(2) Revise the parking threshold for Temporary Use Permits at the Community &\nRecreation Center from 40 “participants” to 40 “vehicles” to align with\noperational needs;\n(3) Direct staff to work with Anneliese Schools to submit a Conditional Use Permit\napplication and prepare a draft lease agreement for the use of the Lang Park\nCommunity Center multi-purpose room for a proposed middle school program;\n(4) Approve amendments to the Commercial Film Permits fee schedule to waive\nthe daily use fee for qualified nonprofit organizations, retroactive to November 1,\n2024; and\n(5) Find the action exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act\npursuant to State CEQA Guidelines section 15061(b)(3).\nAgenda Report
