REQUEST TO RECORD A NOTICE OF COMPLETION (NOC) FOR STORM\nDRAIN REPAIRS/REPLACEMENT PROJECT ON PALOS VERDES DRIVE\nEAST (PVDE) AND CONSTRUCTION OF A DRY WELL INFILTRATION\nSYSTEM ON PVDE & BRIDLEWOOD CIRCLE. CONTRACTOR:\nBONADIMAN WATER INC. (BWI)\nMemorandum from David Wahba, Public Works Director\nRecommendation: That the City Council: 1) Accept the work performed by\nBonadiman Water Inc. (BWI) as complete for storm drain repairs/replacement on\nPalos Verdes Drive East (PVDE), and construction of a dry well infiltration system on\nPVDE, behind 9 Bridlewood Circle (Project), in the amount of $1,752,750, and 2)\nAuthorize the City Clerk to file the Notice of Completion (NOC) with the Los\nAngeles County Recorder’s Office, and if no claims are filed within 35 days after\nrecordation, direct staff to release the 5% construction retention payment to BWI in\nthe amount of $87,637.50.\nAttachments: Staff Report
