B. Consideration to adopt Resolution No. 24-43 and Award a Contract Services Agreement to Sequel\nContractors, Inc., a California Corporation, for Cudahy Citywide – Atlantic Avenue Complete\nStreets Improvement Project – CIP Project No. STR-003 (page 349)\nPresented by the Public Works Director\nRecommendation: The City Council is requested to:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 24-43 appropriating $561,069 of Proposition A\nfunding, amending the Cudahy Citywide – Atlantic Avenue\nComplete Streets Improvement Project (Project) – CIP Project No.\nSTR-003, project funding;\n2. Approve Plans and Specifications for the Cudahy Citywide – Atlantic\nAvenue Complete Streets Improvement Project;\n3. Award a Contract Services Agreement (Agreement) to Sequel\nContractors, Inc. for the Project in the amount of $4,680,872.75 for the\nProject; and\n4. Approve 10% construction contingency for unforeseen conditions in\nthe amount of $468,087 for utilization by the Public Works Director or\ndesignee for potential Construction Change Orders (CCO) and 6.5%\nconstruction oversight in the amount of $304,257.
