Public Works – Adopt Categorical Exemption Under California Enivornmental Quality Act (CEQA)\nSection 15302(c), Approve Plans and Specifications, and Award a Public Works Agreement for\nCitywide Traffic Engineering and Improvements, T-190 (2024 Arterial Roadway Striping). Expenditure:\n$396,348 (Non-General Fund).\nRecommendation of the Public Works Director that City Council:\n1. Adopt a finding of categorical exemption per staff determination, pursuant to Section 15301(c) of the\nguidelines implementing California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for Citywide Traffic\nEngineering and Improvements, T-190 (2024 Arterial Roadway Striping); and\n2. Approve the plans and specifications for Citywide Traffic Engineering and Improvements, T-190\n(2024 Arterial Roadway Striping) (B2024-06) project; and\n3. Award a Public Works Agreement to WGJ Enterprises, Inc. dba PCI of Azusa, CA (B2024-06) in the\namount of $330,290 and authorize a 20% contingency in the amount of $66,058 for construction of\nCitywide Traffic Engineering and Improvements, T-190 (2024 Arterial Roadway Striping) for a two-\nyear period beginning January 14, 2025 and ending January 13, 2027.
