7. San Gabriel Valley Aquatic Center Project: Approve Project Budget and\nAppropriation Adjustment\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Solis: Find that the actions herein\nare within the scope of the approved project analyzed in the previously adopted\nMitigated Negative Declaration for the San Gabriel Valley Aquatic Center\nProject, Capital Project (CP) No. 69909 (Project), and that there are no\nchanges to the Project or to the circumstances under which the Project is\nundertaken that require further review under the California Environmental\nQuality Act; find that the previously adopted Mitigated Monitoring and Reporting\nProgram will continue to ensure that all impacts remain less than significant;\nadopt a revised Project budget of $35,960,000 and an appropriation adjustment\nthat reflects an increase of $1,000,000 from the previous Board-approved\namount of $34,960,000, in appropriation for the Project, funded with the\nfollowing sources: $876,000 transfer from Various First Supervisorial District\nImprovements, CP No. 77043, and a transfer of $124,000 from First\nSupervisorial District Discretionary Strategic Planning Funds; and approve and\nauthorize the Director of Public Works to finalize negotiations and execute a\ncontract amendment with Balfour Beatty Construction, LLC, for an amount\nnot-to-exceed $550,000 to design and build the improvements at the boundary\nbetween the San Gabriel Valley Aquatic Center and the Performing Arts Center.\n4-VOTES (25-0355)
