26. Puente Hills Landfill Park Environmental Justice Center Exhibits and\nNogales Park Enhancement Projects Grant Applications\nRecommendation: Adopt resolutions to complete the application process for\ngeneral fund grant applications to the California Natural Resources Agency in\nthe amount of $1,000,000 for the Puente Hills Landfill Park Environmental\nJustice Center Exhibits Project and for specified grant funds to the State of\nCalifornia Department of Parks and Recreation for the Nogales Park\nEnhancement Project in the amount of $600,000 (1 and 4); authorize the\nDirector of Parks and Recreation, as an agent of the County, to accept grant\nfunds, conduct all negotiations, and execute and submit all documents\nincluding, but not limited to, applications, agreements, deed restrictions,\namendments, funding agreements and payment requests, which may be\nnecessary for the completion of the projects; and find that the proposed actions\nare not projects under the California Environmental Quality Act.
