Ordinance Adding Chapter 8.34 to the Lancaster Municipal Code Relating to the Sale of\nEnergy Drinks to Persons Under the Age of 18\nRecommendation(s):\nIntroduce Ordinance No. adding Chapter 8.34 to the Lancaster Municipal Code relating to\nthe sale of energy drinks to persons under 18 years of age.\nIn order to protect the public health, safety and welfare of persons under the age of eighteen\n(18) years of age, the City Council of the City of Lancaster has determined it is necessary to\nprohibit the sale , distribution, giving away or offering of energy drinks to persons under the\nage of eighteen (18) years old.
