CC 13. Professional Services Agreement - FTI Consulting (SC) Inc. & Tripepi Smith\nRecommendation(s):\nIt is recommended that City Council:\n1. Approve the award of RFP 843-25 Professional Services Agreement to two vendors for\nGeneral Communications and Marketing Services with:\na. FTI Consulting (SC) Inc. (FTI) in an amount not to exceed $300,000 for one\nyear, and authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to sign all documents; and\nb. Tripepi Smith in an amount not to exceed $270,862.80 for three years, and\nauthorize the City Manager, or his designee, to sign all documents; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute any additional amendments to\nthe Agreement deemed necessary to complete the project in a form approved by the\nCity Attorney; and\n3. Find that this item is not a project pursuant to the California Environmental Quality\nAct.\nTripepi Smith will primarily focus on website and social media support to enhance the City’s\ndigital presence. FTI Consulting (SC) Inc. will focus on press pitching, drafting and\ndistributing press releases, and managing strategic campaigns to increase public awareness\nand media outreach. Both vendors have extensive knowledge and prior experience working\nwith the City in order to maximize expertise in both digital communication and traditional\nmedia outreach.
