REORGANIZATION OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND CMWD BOARD, ELECTION OF MAYOR PRO TEMPORE\nAND BOARD PRESIDENT AND VICE PRESIDENT, REGIONAL COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS AND\nSUBCOMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS – 1) Adopt a resolution appointing one member of the City Council to\nserve as Mayor Pro Tempore for a term ending in December 2025, or until a replacement is appointed;\nand\n2) Adopt a Carlsbad Municipal Water District Board resolution appointing one member of the Board\nof Directors to serve as President of the Board and one member to serve as Vice President of the\nBoard for a term ending in December 2025, or until a replacement is appointed; and\n3) Adopt a resolution appointing members of the City Council to the San Diego Association of\nGovernments Board of Directors for a term ending in December 2025, or until a replacement is\nappointed; and\n4) Adopt a resolution appointing members of the City Council to the San Diego Association of\nGovernments Shoreline Preservation Working Group for a term ending in December 2025, or until a\nreplacement is appointed; and\n5) Adopt a resolution appointing members of the City Council to the North County Transit District\nBoard of Directors for a term ending in December 2025, or until a replacement is appointed; and\n6) Adopt a Carlsbad Municipal Water District Board resolution confirming the Board President’s\nappointment of a Board Member to the San Diego County Water Authority Board of Directors for a\nterm ending in December 2025, or until a replacement is appointed; and\n7) Adopt a resolution appointing members of the City Council to the Clean Energy Alliance Joint\nPowers Authority Board of Directors for a term ending in December 2025, or until a replacement is\nappointed; and\n8) Adopt a resolution confirming the mayoral appointment of members of the City Council to the\nvarious regional committee assignments for terms ending in December 2025, or until replacements\nare appointed; and\n9) Adopt a resolution confirming the mayoral appointment of members of the City Council to the City\nCouncil Economic Development Subcommittee for a term ending in December 2025, or until\nreplacements are appointed; and\n10) Adopt a resolution confirming the mayoral appointment of members of the City Council to the\nCity Council Legislative Subcommittee for a term ending in December 2026, or until replacements\nare appointed.
