23. CONSIDER (1) APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH HERK EDWARDS INC. FOR REMOVING AND\nINSTALLING BLEACHERS AT VETERANS SPORTCOMPLEX AND (2) APPROVING A PURCHASE AGREEMENT\nWITH HERK EDWARDS INC. FOR PURCHASE OF NEW BLEACHERS, FUNDED BY A LOS ANGELES COUNTY\nMEASURE A ANNUAL ALLOCATION FUNDING GRANT ON A REIMBURSEMENT BASIS; AND (3) ADOPTING\nRESOLUTION NO. 25-009 AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2024/2025 BUDGET (CITY COUNCIL)\nRECOMMENDED ACTION\n— 1. APPROVE the attached Public Works Agreement between the City of Carson and Herk Edwards Inc.\n(Exhibit No. 2; "Public Works Agreement");\n— 2. AUTHORIZE the Mayor and/or City Manager to execute the Public Works Agreement following\napproval as to form by City Attorney;\n— 3. APPROVE the attached Purchase Agreement between the City of Carson and Herk Edwards, Inc.,\npursuant to CMC Section 2611(g) (Cooperative Purchasing bidding exemption) and Sourcewell Contract\n#081523-HSC (Exhibit No. 3; "Purchase Agreement"); and\n— 4. AUTHORIZE the Mayor and/or City Manager to execute the Purchase Agreement following approval\nas to form by City Attorney; and\n— 5. AUTHORIZE the City Manager or designee to submit and execute all documents necessary to\nensure and obtain RPOSD reimbursement to the City for the Public Works Agreement and Purchase\nAgreement out of the Proposition A Annual Allocation Grant funding.\n— 6. ADOPT Resolution No. 25-009, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON,\nCALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2024/2025 BUDGET IN THE SPECIAL REVENUE FUNDS";
