Watershed Conservation Authority Fiscal Year 2024-25 Annual Budget\nRecommendation: Acting as the Governing Body of the County Flood Control\nDistrict (District), approve the Fiscal Year (FY) 2024-25 Budget for the Water\nConservation Authority (1, 2, 4 and 5); authorize the Chief Engineer of the\nDistrict to contribute $51,500 to the Water Conservation Authority for FY\n2024-25 to continue the development and implementation of multiuse projects\nthat enhance flood protection, while also providing open space and recreational\nopportunities for the conservation, restoration, and environmental enhancement\nof the San Gabriel and Lower Los Angeles Rivers Watersheds; and find that the\nproposed actions are not a project under the California Environmental Quality\nAct.
