14. FIRE STATION HEADQUARTERS OFFICE RENOVATION – AWARD OF\nCONTRACT (PUBLIC WORKS)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1) Award a construction contract to RAMCO General Engineering Contractors, Inc.,\nof Sylmar, California in the amount of $404,313.00 for the Fire Station\nHeadquarters Office Renovation project, and authorize the City Manager to\nexecute the agreement; and\n2) Authorize the City Manager to execute Task Order No. 87 to Southstar\nEngineering, Inc., for On-Call Professional Engineering Services for Construction\nManagement and Inspection Services for $114,975.00; and\n3) Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
