17. ORDINANCE NO. 1154 – ADDING SECTION 10.24 (NAMING OF PUBLIC\nFACILITIES AND STREETS) TO CHAPTER 10 (GENERAL PROVISIONS) OF\nTITLE I (GENERAL PROVISIONS) OF THE SANTA FE SPRINGS MUNICIPAL\nCODE AND DETERMINE THAT THE ACTION IS EXEMPT UNDER CEQA\n(COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1) Find and determine that the Ordinance is exempt from the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section\n15061(b)(3); and\n2) Introduce by title only and waive further reading of Ordinance No. 1154: An\nOrdinance of the City of Santa Fe Springs Municipal Code relating to the Naming\nof Public Facilities and Streets; and\n3) Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.\nAPPOINTMENTS TO BOARDS, COMMITTEES, AND COMMISSIONS\nCOUNCIL COMMENTS/AB1234 COUNCIL CONFERENCE REPORTING\nCouncil member announcements; requests for future agenda items; conference/meetings\nreports. Members of the City Council will provide a brief report on meetings attended at the\nexpense of the local agency as required by Government Code Section 53232.3(d).
