7.2 City Council Appointments to City Commissions and Committees for 2025-2027.\nRECOMMENDATION: Consider the applications and appoint members to the following\nCommissions and Committees:\nA. One regular member as recommended by District 3 Council Member Mark Nguyen\nto the Citizens Oversight Committee (Measure Y and E) to serve at the pleasure of\nthe appointing council member and will serve until the council member leaves office\nor the disbandment of the committee;\nB. Five regular members to the Parks & Recreation Commission for a term to expire in\nDecember 2026, waiving other applicable requirements;\nC. Five regular members to the Planning Commission for a term to expire in December\n2026, waiving other applicable requirements;\nD. Five regular members to the Cultural Arts Commission for a term to expire in\nDecember 2026, waiving other applicable requirements; and\nE. Five regular members to the Traffic Commission for a term to expire in December\n2026, waiving other applicable requirements.
