9. ACCEPT FUNDING FROM THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY (DOE) ENERGY EFFICIENCY\nAND CONSERVATION BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM (EECBG)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Accept the United States Department of Energy (DOE) Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant\n(EECBG) Program funds in the amount of $121,520; and\n2. Amend the Fiscal Year 2024-25 budget by increasing appropriations by $121,520 in Account No. 265-\n30-332-6082 (Grants, Public Works, Energy Efficiency Conservation, Vehicle Purchase [Expenditures])\nand $121,520 in Account No. 265-99-4198.32 (Grants, Miscellaneous Grants, Energy Efficiency\nConservation [Revenue]); and\n3. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
