4.1 AUTHORIZATION OF POSITIONS AND BUDGET\nALLOCATION FOR CITY-OPERATED LIBRARY\nSERVICES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025\nACTION:\n1) Adopt - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL\nOF THE CITY OF IRVINE, CALIFORNIA,\nAUTHORIZING FULL-TIME POSITIONS IN\nACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF\nCOMPENSATION RESOLUTIONS AND\nSUPERSEDING RESOLUTION NO. 24-89, WHICH IS\nINCONSISTENT THEREWITH\n2) Approve a budget adjustment appropriating\n$2,837,349 from the Asset Management Plan Fund\n(Fund 002) to fund 56.4 FTE positions and the\noperational budget for the Library Services Division of\nthe Community Services Department for the remainder\nof Fiscal Year 2024-2025, with those funds set to be\nrepaid from future library funds that the City will receive\nas part of the operational transition.\n3) Approve a budget adjustment appropriating\n$2,600,000 Asset Management Plan Fund (002) to\nLibrary Improvements, CIP 362507, for immediate\nrepairs and equipment.\n4.1
