7. Request Approval of the following: 1. Authorize Staff to purchase and equip a 2028 Pierce\nEnforcer fire engine in the amount of $1,200,000, 2. Authorize Staff to dispose of one\nsurplus 2001 American La France fire engine – Presentation by Matt Barr, Battalion Chief\n Recommended Action: Staff recommends the following: 1) Follow the bidding exceptions\nper FVMC 2.36.070 (a)(4) and authorize staff to purchase and equip a 2028 Pierce Enforcer\nfire engine in the amount of $1,200,000, and 2), Authorize staff to dispose of one surplus\n2001 American La France fire engine (#8210) by means that best meet the requirements of\nthe Carl Moyer grant process for the reimbursement funding of $187,331.00.
