5. Designation of the City's Voting Delegate and Alternate at the Southern California\nAssociation of Governments (SCAG) Regional Conference and General Assembly\nMeeting. The Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) requests the selection of\none delegate to vote on behalf of the City for the General Assembly Meeting to be held May 1-2,\n2025. It is recommended that the City Council designate Mayor Tim Hepburn as the voting\nmember and Mayor Pro Tem Steve F. Johnson, Council Member Wendy Lau, Council Member\nRick Crosby, and Council Member Meshal "Kash" Kashifalghita as alternates.\nRecommendation: That the City Council adopt a Resolution titled, "A RESOLUTION OF THE\nCITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA VERNE, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING A VOTING\nDELEGATE TO THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS’\nGENERAL ASSEMBLY BUSINESS MEETING ON MAY 1, 2025."
