(Schmid) (30 mins)\nRecommendation: 1) Receive and file a status update on the implementation\nof the Public Safety Division including its current initiatives and future\nobjectives; 2) Authorize Staff to issue a Public Safety Community Survey in\nMarch 2025 per City Council Policy No. 2; and, 3) Approve converting the\nclassification of one part-time, non-sworn Public Safety Liaison to a part-time,\nnon-sworn Public Safety Field Training Officer in the Public Safety Division,\nand direct Staff to return with the job classification at a future meeting.\nAgenda Report
