B Consideration and possible action to award a contract to Cal-City\nConstruction, Inc., for the construction of Bellflower Youth and Senior\nCenter Facility (Specifications No. 23/24-07); and authorize the City Manager\nto execute a contract with Cal-City Construction, Inc., in a form approved by\nthe City Attorney. [CITY]\nCEQA: Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) (Public\nResources Code §§ 21000, et seq.) and CEQA Guidelines (California Code of\nRegulations, Title 14, §§ 15000, et seq.), the City conducted an environmental\nassessment for the project consisting of an Initial Study and Mitigated Negative\nDeclaration. The Initial Study determined that the project would not result in any\nsignificant effect on the environment with incorporation of mitigation measures\ncontained in the Mitigated Negative Declaration.\nRecommendation to City Council: 1) Award a contract to Cal-City Construction,\nInc., for the Project and authorize the City Manager to execute said contract in a\nform approved by the City Attorney; or 2) Alternatively, discuss and take other\naction related to this item.
