AWARD OF CIVIC CENTER FOUNTAIN PROJECT (CITY PROJECT NO. 9276)\nCONTRACT – APPROVAL OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AWARD OF\nCONTRACT, AND FINDING THE PROJECT EXEMPT FROM THE\nCALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT PURSUANT TO\nTHE CLASS 1 CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION\nRecommended Action: 1) Approve the plans and specifications as\ndetailed in the bid documents, with respect to design criteria; 2) Find\nthe project exempt from CEQA; and 3) Award the contract for the\nCivic Center Fountain project to ARC Construction, Inc., La\nCrescenta, California in the amount of $1,921,563.28, and authorize\nthe Mayor or her designee to execute the agreement.
