Item 332: Coastal Commission Modifications - Mira Mesa Community Plan and Local Coastal\nProgram.\nThis item will be considered in the afternoon session which is scheduled to begin at\n2:00 p.m.\nTotal Estimated Cost of Proposed Action and Funding Source:\nThere are no expenditures being authorized with this action.\nCouncil District(s) Affected: 6.\nProposed Actions:\nThe proposed project is to adopt an amendment to the Mira Mesa Community Plan\nUpdate and Local Coastal Program to include the California Coastal Commission's\nrequested modifications.The City Council adopted the Mira Mesa Community Plan\nUpdate on December 5, 2022. State law requires the California Coastal Commission\ncertification of amendments to the Local Coastal Program before they can take effect in\nthe Coastal Zone. The California Coastal Commission conditionally certified the\namendments to the Mira Mesa Community Plan Update and Local Coastal Program with\n25 modifications on September 12, 2024.
