15.m APPROVAL OF SPECIAL EVENT LONG-TERM AGREEMENT WITH FRIENDS OF\nTHE PARKS FOR MOVIES AT THE BEACH - 25-CR-016\nCEQA: Approval of the proposed long-term agreement would be exempt from the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section\n15304. The long-term agreement permits an event which is a minor, temporary use\nof land in the form of a movie screening on the beach. This type of temporary event\nwill have negligible or no permanent effect on the environment.\n(Community Resources Lisa Nichols)\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends City Council:\n1. Approve a long-term agreement (LTA) with Hermosa Beach Friends of the\nParks (FOP) for Movies at the Beach for 2025 through 2027; and\n2. Authorize the Mayor and City Manager to execute and the City Clerk to\nattest the long-term agreement, subject to approval by the City Attorney\n(Attachment 3).
