STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT), PURSUANT TO SECTION\n15301 OF THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT GUIDELINES (CITY COUNCIL)\nRECOMMENDED ACTION\n— 1. APPROVE Plans, Specifications, and Estimate for Proj. No. 1608 - MLK Street. Rehabilitation\nProject from Main St. to Avalon Blvd.\n— 2. AUTHORIZE staff to advertise the work and call for construction bids for Project No. 1608: MLK\nStreet. Rehabilitation Project from Main St. to Avalon Blvd.\n— 3. MAKE the California Environmental Quality Act finding that the proposed Project No.1608: MLK Jr\nStreet Rehabilitation project from Main St. to Avalon Blvd categorically exempt pursuant to Section\n15301 of the California Environmental Quality Act guidelines\n— 4. AUTHORIZE staff to record the “Notice of Exemption” in the office of the Los Angeles County Clerk\nand with the State Clearing House at the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research for Project No.\n1608: MLK Street Rehabilitation Project from Main St. to Avalon Blvd.
