8.3 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FOURTH AMENDMENT TO THE PROFESSIONAL\nSERVICES AGREEMENT WITH LEGISLATIVE ADVOCACY GROUP TO PROVIDE\nLEGISLATIVE SERVICES TO THE CITY\nComments:\nStaff is seeking City Council approval to approve the Fourth Amendment to the\nProfessional Services Agreement with Legislative Advocacy Group (LAG) to provide\nlegislative advocacy services, with an added emphasis on identifying and pursuing state\ngrant opportunities. LAG has represented the City since 2005, and has demonstrated an\nexpertise in navigating legislative matters, securing funding, and advocating for the City’s\ninterests at the state, regional, and local levels. This Fourth Amendment will have a\ntermination date of December 31, 2025. (CM)\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends that the City Council approve the Fourth Amendment to the\nProfessional Services Agreement with Legislative Advocacy Group for Lobbying Services,\nwith an added emphasis on identifying and pursuing state grant opportunities .
