E. Award of Contract for Janitorial Services at Various City Facilities\nThe City of Rosemead utilizes contract services to perform routine janitorial\nmaintenance at various City facilities, including administration buildings, community\ncenters, and parks. The scope of services consists of the day-to- day cleaning of the\nlisted City facilities including dust removal, cleaning of restrooms and floor surfaces,\nthe removal of trash, and other cleaning services to maintain the facilities. The\nexisting agreement with Base Hill is set to expire on March 31, 2023. A Request for\nProposals ( RFP) was released by staff on February 2, 2023, and on February 23,\n2023, the City received four (4) proposals for Janitorial Services. Staff reviewed the\nproposals for completeness, understanding ofthe scope of work, experience, and cost.\nRecommendation: That the City Council authorize the City Manager to execute an\nagreement with Lincoln Training Center for Janitorial Services for Various City\nFacilities for a three- year term with the option to extend for up to two ( 2) additional\none- year periods. The total annual compensation for the contract term is as follows:\nFirst Year (April 1, 2023 — March 31, 2024): $ 313, 583\nSecond Year (April 1, 2024 —March 31, 2025): $ 331, 048\nThird Year (April 1, 2025 — March 31, 2026): $ 349, 520
