Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program, Award of\nSpecial Administrative Fee Funding for Small Area Fair\nMarket Rents Implementation.\nRECOMMENDED MOTION:\nThe staff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Receive and approve for use, the Special\nAdministrative Fees from the U.S. Department of\nHousing and Urban Development (HUD) to offset the\ntransition cost of the mandatory use of Small Area Fair\nMarket Rents (SAFMRs).\n2. Authorize the Finance Department to make funds\nimmediately available in the 810 account.
