City Council: Staff and the Police and Fire Commission recommend that 24-511\nthe City Council adopt a resolution to accept $52,914 in\ngrant funds from the FY 2024 U.S. Department of Justice\nEdward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant awarded\nto the City for crime suppression; appropriate the funds to\nthe Justice Assistance Grant Fund; approve the grant\nbudget; and authorize the City Manager, or designee, to\nexecute the grant documents.
