F.4. FREE PARKING TO SUPPORT FOR THE\nWEST HOLLYWOOD CHAMBER OF\nCOMMERCE’S WEHAPPY INITIATIVE [L.\nMEISTER, C. BYERS, Y. QUARKER, A.\nLOVANO, J. DEL TORO]:\nThe City Council will consider authorizing free\nparking to support "WeHappy", a new initiative\norganized by the West Hollywood Chamber of\nCommerce aimed at supporting local\nbusinesses Citywide. The events are\nanticipated to take place on Wednesday\nevenings during April 2025.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Authorize free\nparking at parking meters, City surface parking\nlots, and City parking structures for\n"WeHappy", an event to encourage support for\nlocal businesses citywide on every\nWednesday evening in April 2025 from 4:00\nPM to 12:00 AM; and 2) Direct the\nCommunications Department to utilize all\nappropriate communication tools to promote\nthe change in enforcement hours including, but\nnot limited to, the City's website and social\nmedia tools.\nITEM F.4. - STAFF REPORT
