F.3. UPDATE THE CITY’S MATTHEW SHEPARD\nHUMAN RIGHTS TRIANGLE AND\nCRESCENT HEIGHTS TRIANGLE [D.\nHANG, J. HEILMAN, Y. QUARKER, A.\nLOVANO, J. DEL TORO]:\nThe City Council will consider directing staff to\nbegin efforts to update the City’s Matthew\nShepard Human Rights Triangle and Crescent\nHeights Triangle, located at the intersection of\nCrescent Heights and Santa Monica Boulevard\nin West Hollywood.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Direct staff to take\nsteps to update the City's Matthew Shepard\nHuman Rights Triangle and Crescent Heights\nTriangle, located at the intersection of\nCrescent Heights and Santa Monica\nBoulevard, to be completed and unveiled by\n2028, the 30th anniversary of Matthew\nShepard's murder; 2) Direct staff to develop a\ncommunity outreach plan to receive input on\ndesign concepts from the Public Facilities,\nRecreation, and Infrastructure Commission\nand broader community stakeholders; and 3)\nStaff will return to the City Council with\nrecommended design concepts, estimated\ncosts, and timeline for the site improvements.\nITEM F.3. - STAFF REPORT
