UPDATE ON PERMANENT MEMORIAL EFFORTS AND REQUEST DIRECTION TO\nENGAGE A CONSULTANT TO LEAD COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PROCESS\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n(1) Receiving and filing this update on the permanent memorial process, including recent\nsurvey results;\n(2) Providing direction to staff to engage a consultant to facilitate a broad-based community\nengagement process to guide the design and location of the permanent memorial;\n(3) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
