6. CONSIDERATION OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE CITY MANAGER CONTRACT WITH\nJESSICA BINNQUIST TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE AGREEMENT – F2M13-23,\nC2M18-1, M2M25-29\nJessica Binnquist began service as the City’s City Manager in an interim capacity in\nNovember of 2017. In January, 2018 the City Council approved an Employment\nAgreement with Ms. Binnquist as City Manager. The original term of that Agreement was\nset to expire in 2022. Based upon an evaluation of her performance, the City Council\namended the Agreement in 2021 to extend the term through 2027. Ms. Binnquist’s\nperformance was evaluated at the end of last year by the City Council. Subsequent to\nthat evaluation, the Council has requested that consideration of a further extension of the\nAgreement through 2031 be agendized.\nRecommended Action: City Council consider approval of that certain Third\nAmendment to Employment Agreement; a copy of which Amendment is on file in the City\nClerk’s Office as Contract No. C2M18-1 and by this reference incorporated herein and\nmade a part of as though fully set forth herein, extending the term of the Agreement\nthrough December 2031.
