4. AWARD OF ALLEY IMPROVEMENTS 2025 (CITY PROJECT NO. 9534) –\nCONTRACT APPROVAL OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AWARD OF\nCONTRACT, AND FINDING THE PROJECT EXEMPT FROM THE\nCALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT PURSUANT TO\nTHE CLASS 1 CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION\nRecommended Action: 1) Approve the plans and specifications as\ndetailed in the bid documents, with respect to design criteria; 2) Find\nthe project exempt from CEQA; and 3) Award the contract for the\nAlley Improvements project to Gentry General Engineering, Inc.,\nColton, California, in the amount of $211,689, and authorize the\nMayor or her designee to execute the agreement.\nAgenda March 25, 2025
